Approved!

Wow, magis na talaga ito.    I hope to get to know more people as I do this.  I guess being passionate about this field is a big factor to why I'm doing this right now.

4 3.80

2009-2010 1 3.80

Though I have been very ecstatic to have achieved these final grades, I lose all the excitement and exhaust them into a sigh of relief after finding out about these marks.  With all the highs and lows of my learning experiences in school, at the end of the day, they're just, well, letters and digits.

The numbers may have, in a way, encapsulated a part of me.  I may be a 0.23 at times, but I can also be a 3.3.  The numbers do have meaning, too, but it encapsulates an aspect or two.  The letter grade doesn't really talk much about my behavior after learning, or my satisfaction towards a class, or how I can make money out of the theories and skills that I get from a teacher.

After all, it's the adventure that matters more.  It's important to keep one's eyes towards the goal, but sometimes, focusing on the goal tends to make some people forget all the joys and sadnesses that they go through in the middle of the challenge.  In Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist, the boy may have been able to value  more his goal of not spilling the teaspoon of oil had he taken time to look at the pyramids and beautiful infrastructures while fulfilling his responsibility.

With all these musings, I conclude thus--no letter or quantity could ever encapsulate the learning that I've had with wonderful classmates, teachers, and the lessons that are worth bringing to people outside the classroom.  The experience is too massive for it to be shrunk into a little indicator.

In Your Hands

Dear Lord,

Nagmamahal,

Yie
